Que intro para más fantastico
I saw this opening night in 1989. One of the best experiences of my childhood. I had the toys and trading cards. This movie and Ghostbusters II back to back. What a summer
How all those bats flew on in and formed the symbol in the background and up close was out of my mind. That’s to show you the respect of a hero’s symbol.
The title doesn't make sense. Why is it called "Batman Returns" if Batman never left? In The Dark Knight Returns the title made sense because he came back after 10 years.
Saw this movie last night in a concert with a live orchestra playing the entire score. Hearing the orchestra playing this theme was absolutely amazing!
GREATEST INTRO EVER
Best batman has done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
"Based on Batman Characters Created by Bob Kane" And Bill Finger.
This is truly one of the most glorious Batman endings and for me is the second most glorious right behind The dark Knight carries the bomb out of Gotham and saves the city apparently giving his life. But this ending is definitely my personal favorite. Along with the background music to end it you couldn't ask for a better ending to a first Batman movie with Michael Keaton.
This ending makes me want to be batman
I love this intro makes it as if Batman's presence was always there in Gotham, even before Bruce Wayne was born. It almost like he was waiting for the moment when he was needed, when Bruce Wayne's parents died, he came out to avenge the people of Gotham.
The fact that I know all of the music in this movie is because I've played the Lego Batman games.
One of the best Batman films ever thank you Tim Burton for making a good movie. And my favorite super hero of all time.
Direct sequel novel On April 11, 2024, it was announced that a new novel would be released which would tie-in to the film. Announced with the title Batman: Resurrection, the novel was to be written by author John Jackson Miller, and would act as a direct sequel to the film. The premise of the novel was to be set in between the events of Batman and its sequel Batman: Returns, with Batman focusing on dismantling the remnants of Joker's organization while contemplating on the idea that Joker might not actually be dead. The novel would also include certain characters introduced in the sequel, with one example being Max Shreck.
This is one of the best sequel intros ever. Possibly second to Superman II.
i will never forget the first time I saw this, i was on a united airlines flight from san francisco to new york and this was one of the free movies onboard
Which verson of the comics is the Burtonverse Batman based off of?
The Dark Knight intro for me represented the calm before the storm and it had a quiet meancing mood to make everyone feel as uncomfortable as possible before the chaos begins. There was a hush chill in the air that really said to everyone that you have no idea what's about to hit you. You knew you were in for a rollercoaster ride
I remember me and my best friend (RIP) went to see this on the day of release, there was a very high level of anticipation in terms of expectations and when this intro started, we both knew that this was going to be an epic movie. To call it Batman Begins was an appropriate name because this was the start of something truly special and it didn't disappoint. 19 years later and still the best intro of the whole trilogy
This movie sucked
The Batman Movies are my favourite 😎
Michael Keaton should have had first name there.
Indeed this was one concession Warner had to made to Jack Nicholson. He was reluctant to sign for the role as Joker, because he didn't expect the movie to be a great success (like many others) and saw himself as "too big" for the concept". To convince him, Warner had to put him (the antagonist) on Position 1 instead of the Protagonist (Keaton). Another major concession was the salary: instead of a total fixen salary, Nicholson negotiated a success based compensation. Thanks to the overwhelming success of "Batman" he became the best paid actor for many decades.
Most darkest batman movie yet
Danny Elfman deserves immortality for this musical score alone….
I'll be meeting him in June. He's actually going to a convention!
There has never been a movie like that again.
Hearing this theme changed my life as a kid i was 7 when i first watched this film.
I had the pleasure of seeing this twice in the theatre, once w my nephew. So awesome. Theatres are how films, especially these, are meant to be experienced.
My favourite batman returns 1992 movie
I like Keaton's acting but I do agree he doesn't look like Bruce Wayne and it should've been played by Bruce Willis or Mel Gibson.
Lol
They used this music in the first teaser for the spider man 2002 movie
This intro is really good,I liked the fact Jim Carrey was in the film since I was a fan of him in the 90s. Nicole Kidman was hot as hell in this film.
real comic ending
The only part of the movie that was really good tbh other than the flashback to Bruce parents death
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT A FIGURE RISES IN GOTAM HE IS THE LORD OF THE NIGHT HE IS BATMAN
What folks who weren’t around yet when this movie came out need to understand, is that Batman put the superhero genre on the map. If this movie failed, there would be no Batman film series, no DCAU, and there would certainly not have been an MCU. All the Superhero films who graced the screen can trace their origins to this one film, the Grandaddy of them all.
Michael Keaton- Best Batman. Kevin Conroy- Best Animated Batman. (R.I.P.) Heath Ledger- Best Joker. (R.I.P.) Mark Hamill- Best Animated Joker. Tim Burton- Best Director.
Childhood 😢
Nice 🦇
Definitely the best intro to a film ever made.
I remember the vibe in the theater opening night in 2005. It was the first Batman movie on the big screen since 1997. When the Warner Brothers logo came up with that sound people clapped. Good times.
Still an iconic masterpiece and top of the line after 3 decades
Batman begins love movie
Batman returns intro music 😁🎶
The best batman
In the beginning, it almost sounded like henry's sad theme.
This is something that current superhero, action, and science fiction films do not have, an ending with heroic and glorious music. Like the end of an opera, all you need to do is stand up and applaud.
Very beautiful ❤ Batman is a wonderful example of how someone can be a superior version of himself!
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince has my all time favourite opening WB logo, but this truly isn’t far off! The score, the quite foreboding buildup and the visuals makes this one of the most epic opening logos in film history!
5555
this opening is still epic 35 years later!
